RIP Mika !

Mika Ahola has passed away. The five time Enduro champion suffered severe internal injuries following a training accident in Spain. Ahola spent a few weeks in the hospital but succumbed to his injuries this morning. Ahola was 37. Mika Ahola won five consecutive Enduro championships (from 2007 to 2011) across three divisions (E1, E2, and E3). Ahola was also claimed the Six Days Enduro title 7-times as part of the Finnish. Having pulled out of day 1 in Spain last week due to aggrivating an ongoing injury to his hip, Knighter has returned to competition despite knowing he will have to have his hip operated on sometime soon.
